This boat was terrible. We rent every summer from different places in Miami and never had such a bad experience. Tommy was very nice don’t get wrong but his boat was garbage. The boat was for us to 6 people per the sticker and the usual guidelines on an element like that only my husband and I were on it with three teenagers that weight 120 each. The boat is for 850 lbs we were about 750 and a cooler. Well this boat only ran 10 miles per hour. 9 to 10 and sounded like the engine was drowning. Tommy said that was normal. We were caught in a storm and couldn’t run away from it, all the other boats were escaping the storm and we couldn’t move any faster we were in a very dangerous storm unable to move. We didn’t want to “ speed” or run, but 10 miles per hour is unnaceptable on any boat. A kayak passed us. I don’t advise renting this boat, or do so but know before hand, it’s like a paddle boat. And if you need to get somewhere it will take a ridiculous amount of time.
