- Cruising Monohull
We began in 1998 by Capt. Rob. He had a 42′ Chris Craft motor yacht and took couples and small parties up to 6 guests out on his boat he named Risk It All. Capt. Rob met singersongwriter Lezlee in the summer of 1999, and his business was growing rapidly. Growing up on boats and having experience in the corporate and entertainment world, Lezlee helped Capt. Rob market the business while he helped her with her singing career. They fell in love. While she was touring Europe, Capt. Rob (who has stage fright) proposed to Lezlee onstage in Prague, Czech. Republic and a year later, they were married.

Frequently Asked Questions Where does the ship go? Our ships cruise the Hudson and East Rivers, past the skyscrapers of Manhattan including the Empire State Building. You’ll also see the Intrepid Sea- Air Space museum, the Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge — the second-longest single-span suspension bridge in the world. Of course, the highlight of our cruise is the Statue of Liberty, one of the most celebrated landmarks in the world. Can I bring my own caterer? All of our yachts provide excellent catering and we can usually accommodate many requests. Only a few yachts allow outside catering, and there is usually a galley fee charged. People don’t realize that our onboard staff is still needed to oversee the kitchen, serve, wash dishes, set tables, etc. No yacht will allow you to bring your own alcohol onboard. Do you have DJ entertainment, flowers, tour guide, etc? For parties, weddings, and events – this is a one-stop shopping center. Some yachts provide in-house DJs, and we have excellent entertainment and an amazing florist we recommend. Also, if you’re having out-of-town guests, you might consider one of our very knowledgeable NYC Tour Guides. Do you sail in foul weather? Absolutely. Our ships are fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail — rain or shine — year round. Will I get seasick? It’s unlikely. The ships operate in New York Harbor, on the Hudson River and the East River, which are all very calm bodies of water. What’s more, our ships are large and very stable, so in most cases, you can hardly tell that they’re moving. What is your smoking policy? Smoking is not allowed in the dining room areas of our ships. However, smoking is permitted on the outer decks.
