It is a historic construction from the golden era of rubber in Amazonas. It's iron and concrete structure followed the style of a market in Paris in 1882 (Les Halles). • After the market, departure by fast boat (voadeira). It is a very comfortable boat made of metal and very stable. The seats are padded and covered. The sides are opened, increasing the speed that guarantees us to visit the entire route. • The first boat stop is at a floating base on the Negro River where a family feeds pink dolphins (closed on Mondays and Wednesdays). This activity is controlled by the federal environmental institution and tourists can get in the water and interact with these incredible animals. • Departure by boat to visit the Dessana indigenous tribe. These indigenous families have relocated to a place 20 km from Manaus. They know that tourists will visit them and, for that reason, they are paid. They perform a ritual in the form of thanks. • Departure from the Dessana community boat to visit Lake Janauari. • It is an exceptional lake that undergoes changes in the water level once a year. As a result, there is a lot of change in people's lives, fauna and flora. • We offer buffet style lunch at a floating restaurant on Lake Janauari. • After lunch and a short rest you will take a short walk. The families of the restaurant where you will have lunch have built a wooden walkway that enters the forest some 130 meters away. It ends in a lagoon where there is a natural water lily garden. Monkeys and birds visit this bridge and can be seen by tourists. • Right after the visit of Vitória-Régia, the boat leaves Lake Janauari for a visit to a creation of the largest freshwater fish in Brazil (Pirarucu). This structure is located in a floating village where about 800 people live in houses built on tree trunks called Açacú (Euphorbiaceae) . The boat passes through this village so that you can observe the very peculiar housing style of the Amazon. You will see floating houses, schools, churches and even bars and cafeterias. • The last, but the most important attraction of the tour is the Encontro das Águas. The largest natural phenomenon in the Amazon where the Negro and Solimões rivers meet and do not mix for about six kilometers, forming the Amazon River. • The boat leaves the waters meeting for the port and then the ground transportation goes to the place of your accommodation Manaus.
