All equipment and utilities included in the rental are listed on a separate document which is called Boat Checklist. It is the responsibility of the renter to inspect the boat for any damage or issues before taking it from the owner. TERM The Rental period will start from _________________ and it will end on_______________. The scheduled date cannot be canceled and the payment made will not be refunded. EXTENSION If the renter wishes to extend, the renter should contact the owner to notify them that the rental period will be extended. If the owner agrees, then the additional payment will be made after the extended rental period. PAYMENTS The rental amount will be $ _______per day. DAMAGES The renter will be responsible for any damages, issues, or bad conditions done to the boat during the rental period. The repair or replacement fees will be charged on the renter. EQUIPMENT INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL Four life jackets are provided and are to be used for children under 13 years of age. Adults do not need to wear a life jacket but must be carried on the boat in case of emergencies. Two paddles and a hand pump are also provided with the rental. All equipment is to be returned in the same condition it was. RULES AND REGULATIONS Smoking is prohibited while on the watercraft. Pets are not allowed on the boat. Renter agrees that the boat should not be used for any exhibition or race. Renter agrees to use the boat in a safe and legal way. Renter agrees not to keep any firearms in the boat. RISKS The renter agrees and acknowledges the risks of driving a boat in the water. The water bow might change, tides, winds, or waves and other risk factors. INSURANCE The owner is responsible for purchasing and maintaining appropriate insurance for the boat. If requested by the renter, the certificate of insurance can be viewed. The renter's personal properties are not covered in the insurance purchased by the owner against loss, theft, and negligence. WAIVER RELEASE The renter is required to sign a waiver before taking this boat. INDEMNIFICATION The Renter indemnifies the owner free and harmless against any liabilities like accidents, loss of property, injury, or death of any person. The Renter indemnifies the owner free and harmless against any liabilities with regards to Covid-19. GOVERNING LAW This agreement shall be governed under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
